关于美 le mutisme, le serein, le sillage, le murmure


沉默、痕迹、落日以及轻声细语,提供一种关于美感的叙述,就如候鸟空间(北京)即将呈现的两位艺术家:卜云军与黄泽坚的创作。

卜云军与黄泽坚作品中富有的浪漫主义元素及形式感,与他们各自的气质特点相吻合。二人试图在这个没有更多余地的时代,寻找着美的超越性,导出属于个人经验的新观点,探索着感官的美,及其引申意涵与延展状态,思索着美所能带来的启发——美,提醒着我们作为观者,须对自身的存在作出健全、合理的解释与肯定。

虽然关于“美”的主题渐渐变得不那么令人兴奋了,如同“崇高”一样。现实中充斥的太多内容与形式,使得这个主题显得有些刺目。浪漫主义的精神在现实中是遭受鞭笞的,它似乎变成了可恶的东西。无论是短暂而热烈的,抑或深含哀伤的美,都不再具有向过往那样的精神性——美变成了乏味或市侩的恭维。

当艺术也同样被召唤着去追赶时髦时,作为艺术标准的美的权威被撼动。以合理的形式化为必须条件的美作为唯一的一种判断,也显得不够酷了。当艺术家在阐明自然和艺术的本质与构造的学问时,却被当作视觉的刺激与概念,便不再试图对比着道德和功利来厘清美的规律和原则了。美从日常与传统中疏离开,变得沉默却并不安分。

希望我们所谈论的美感经验,以及卜云军与黄泽坚两位艺术家所具备的美感特质,在此次展览中能够带给大家一些新的领悟。

Silence, sunsets, and whispers provide the context in the works of young Chinese artists Bu Yunjun and Huang Zejian. Their works are infused with rich romantic elements, exploring the transcendence of beauty and translating the artists’ sensual experience into photographs, digital works, sculptures and installations. 

Employing amorphous shapes made out of mixed materials and nylon fabric, Huang Zejian’s sculptures and installations fathom human sexuality and the particular appeal of human limbs. Bu Yunjun’s work explores the intersection of light and subject in classical painting, translated into the medium of photography.

Bu Yunjun: “The critical point between the light and the subject is what I think is the most real thing. With regard to the collection and transmission of information, I wonder if I am looking for "functional" information. Among the collected images, I found some unexpected images, and the connection between these images and classical painting gives me a feeling of familiarity. So these images go from anonymous images to images that I know very well.”

Huang Zejian: “I want to borrow the human body to look for some vague visual impact. It cannot hide human desires and inner conflict, it’s the only medium for sex and eroticism.”
