Curating Comfort
25.05.28 -- 25.07.28

Our homes are more than shelters—they’re personal sanctuaries, shaped piece by piece to reflect our tastes, memories, and aspirations. The art we live with does more than decorate; it sets the mood, brings us joy, and defines how we feel in a space. Curating Comfort invites you to explore a thoughtfully selected collection of contemporary works, each offering a unique way to enrich your surroundings.

Comfort is deeply personal and beautifully varied. It can emerge in the calm of nature, like the soft, immersive landscapes of Fuzi, or the meditative, abstracted forms in Xianwei Zhu’s Great Sound and Cloudy Mountain. These pieces invite stillness and quiet reflection, drawing expansive calm into your space.  For others, comfort is found in vibrancy and connection to the natural world.

Lan Zhaoxing’s mountain scenes—whether bold and expressive (Summer Mountain) or classically restrained (Mounts by Jing Hao)—act as windows to imagined landscapes, expanding our sense of peace and perspective.  Art can also bring character and narrative into a room. The sculptural works of Han Dong—from the dynamic presence of Big Cat to the ethereal elegance of Glacial Light—introduce personality and grounding energy.

Geng Xue’s intricate ceramics, such as Lotus Double-Disc Multi-Faced Wishful Figure or the haunting Spider Bowl Broken, weave in myth and emotion, adding richness and curiosity to a space. Similarly, Qi Zhuo’s glass Game sculptures contain tiny, self-contained worlds, offering a quiet, captivating sense of wonder.

Tactility, history, and intention are other pathways to comfort. Gan Haoyu’s ceramics echo the refined beauty of Song Dynasty craftsmanship, connecting everyday objects with centuries of tradition. The poetic minimalism of Kuan Yun’s red calligraphic couplets brings cultural resonance and grace through language.

Meanwhile, Chen Yujun’s detailed interior scenes—like Temporary Family and Asian Circumscription—invite us to reflect on the meaning of home itself, its histories and layers of memory.  Curating Comfort celebrates the emotional and sensory power of art in everyday life.

Through texture, tone, and story, these works offer ways to create a home that’s not just visually beautiful, but emotionally resonant. We invite you to explore and discover the pieces that align with your vision—helping you shape a space that feels grounded, expressive, and truly your own. More info
